Return and Refund Policy

Return and Refund Standards at Wardroberent

At Wardroberent, we want your experience with our Hong Kong rental collection to be smooth and transparent. This policy outlines our procedures for returning items and how we handle refund requests. By using our services, you agree to the following steps and timelines designed to support our local community.

Return Claims

If a customer needs to claim a return of rented item, due to wrong product or damaged product, they must do so within 48 hours of delivery of the item. Once the return reaches us, we will inspect it and provide an exchange or a refund, based on the availability of the rented product.

There are no restocking fees or return shipping charges for approved return claims.

Return of Items

We generally offer our rental service for a maximum of 7 days. Post-completion, customers must return the dress, as we arrange for a pickup. Failing to return the item after the rental period selected will result in late charges of HKD 50 per day.

You can also request an extension of the rental period, by connecting with us through our contact page or through fashion@wardroberent.com .Extensions are only available if the item has not already been booked by someone else.

Please note that due to the nature of our rental service, we only accept return claims for damaged or incorrect items. We do not currently offer returns for change of mind once the item has been accepted at delivery.

Inspection and Approval Process

Once a return claim is raised, we make sure that the order is picked up from your doorstep. You need not pay for the return process. After the product reaches us, we inspect it and approve your return.

Post-approval, we will initiate either an exchange (subject to availability) or a complete refund. We take 24 hours to inspect your returned item and approve the exchange or refund. If we don’t get the dress in the condition it was sent to you, your return request will be declined.

Refund Method and Timelines

In the event that a refund is approved after our inspection, we process the payment exclusively through bank transfer. As we use only Cash on Delivery, bank transfers are the feasible options that we can offer. Post-approval, we will safely ask for your bank account details through email. We advise you to provide accurate details to eliminate any issues.

We take 24-hour to initiate your refund, which includes the timeframe for inspection of your returned item. Once initiated, it typically takes between 5 to 7 business days for the funds to reflect in your bank account. The exact timing depends on the processing speeds of your specific banking institution within Hong Kong.

Late Fine Penalties

To ensure that our collection remains available for all users in Hong Kong, timely returns are essential. All rentals must be sent back within the designated period agreed upon during your booking. If an item is not returned by the scheduled date, a late fine of HKD 50 per day will be imposed and collected at the time of returning the dress.

This fine will accumulate for every day the item remains outstanding. We strictly enforce this to maintain a fair schedule for our entire community, and these charges must be settled before any further rentals can be processed.

Shipping and Cancellation Rules

As noted in our general terms, we operate using a Cash on Delivery (COD) model for all orders. Because we do not charge additional fees for delivery or logistics, the refund amount will correspond to the rental price paid at the door.

Regarding cancellations, you may cancel your order at no cost as long as the item is still with our team. After the order has been shipped, which takes 2 business days, no more cancellation of orders is possible.
